Who I am

Profile

Systems-minded engineer with a strong Linux foundation, hands-on container experience, and a background in performance-critical software development. I've spent time working at the intersection of code, infrastructure, and security — including a formal cybersecurity audit role at the Comptroller & Auditor General of India.

Before that, I spent 2+ years as the sole technical lead at Wolf Wire Studios — designing core gameplay systems in Unreal Engine 5, profiling GPU pipelines, and shipping a commercial title end to end. That experience taught me what "production" actually means.

Currently building deep into the DevOps stack — Docker, Kubernetes, AWS, Terraform, GitHub Actions. My homelab is my lab. I document everything and I write well.

Where I've worked

Oct 2025 — Present
Young Professional — Information Systems Wing
Comptroller & Auditor General of India · New Delhi
  • Designed & deployed the porting of an internal Python-based Image Analytics application to a production web deployment on AWS — containerised with Docker, orchestrated on Kubernetes clusters running on EC2 within a VPC, with S3 handling static image input/output pipelines.
  • Architected the deployment infrastructure including VPC configuration, EC2 cluster provisioning, container orchestration, and S3 bucket integration for the CDMA's analytics workflows.
  • Participated in the technical security assessment of an enterprise High Performance Compute (HPC) server, evaluating configurations, access controls, and system-level exposure.
  • Contributed to the pilot cybersecurity audit of two major PSU organizations, reviewing infrastructure posture and producing structured technical reports for senior stakeholders.
  • Collaborated with the Centre for Data Management & Analytics (CDMA) on data systems analysis and internal documentation.
  • Skills - Docker, Kubernetes, AWS EC2, AWS S3, VPC, Python, Infrastructure Deployment, Linux

Associate Security Analyst
Kratikal Tech · Noida, UP
  • Performed network and web application vulnerability assessments — hands-on with system-level attack surfaces, traffic analysis, and OS internals on Linux environments.
  • Delivered penetration testing reports and managed direct client communication.

Programmer & Systems Consultant
Freelance · New Delhi
  • Maintained a self-hosted homelab running Linux with Docker-based service deployments, networking configuration, and container management — practical infrastructure experience outside formal employment.
  • Provided C++ and systems programming consulting across UE5 and Roblox pipelines for small development teams.

Lead Technical Artist & Gameplay Engineer
Wolf Wire Studios · New Delhi
  • Architected and shipped core gameplay systems in Unreal Engine 5 using C++; profiled and optimized the runtime tick pipeline achieving a 15% frame-rate improvement on mid-range GPUs.
  • Sole technical lead on a commercial single-player FPS (Salvation Hours) — 2+ years of ownership from systems design through post-launch.
  • Managed version control workflows, build pipelines, and cross-functional asset delivery across the full project lifecycle.

Things I've built

Capstone Pipeline
At CAG, a full CI/CD pipeline: GitHub Actions triggers Docker build → pushes to AWS ECR → Terraform provisions EKS cluster → Helm deploys app → Prometheus + Grafana monitors it live. End to end, infra as code.
Docker Kubernetes AWS Terraform GitHub Actions

Salvation Hours
Commercial single-player tactical FPS shipped on PC. Built on Unreal Engine 5 with custom C++ gameplay systems. 15% GPU performance improvement via tick pipeline optimization. 2+ years, sole technical lead.

Homelab Infrastructure
Self-managed Linux homelab running multiple services spanning across Docke, Kubernetes, Vagrant, Terraform etc. Includes reverse proxy setup, container networking, service configuration, and monitoring. Used as a live testing ground for the DevOps stack.

CUDA Parallel Programs
Small collection of CUDA programs exploring GPU parallel computing — memory access patterns, kernel optimization, and thread hierarchy. Published on GitHub as active experiments.

A simple web-app that gives you a quote — just like those Call of Duty death-screen quotes but a little simpler. Be advised, I’m using my personal home-lab to try these projects on.

Lights out and away we go? Not without its own problems — featuring Kubernetes. The idea was simple. A webpage that hits OpenF1 API and prints the standing from a championship year. Yet again I was re-united with my dearest friend Python and his cousins, Flask and requests (python-libraries, for those who don’t know).

All hail the PCMasterRace — especially if you have thick wallets. I know, times are tough and everything is costly and PC buildings makes no sense but that’s exactly why I decided to make this project, not only for DevOps but also to be something useful and practical. Presenting, the home-made Price Tracker — that only scrapes one websites for just a handful of parts. The target was mdcomputers.in.

Life in the fast lane. But this time with Terraform and Vagrant. So I wanted a bare-bones webpage that could pull up spec-sheet of any car because why not, I am a car nerd after all. Yet again, Python/Flask/Jinja came to the rescue. For deployment, I picked Terraform and Vagrant. Yes, I went with a VM this time. I know I could have picked docker but one can experiment yes?
